Sophia Steele

I have been blessed to be loved and raised by the FPC family since I was a child. Jesus introduced Himself to me through our youth groups and used our youth leaders to empower me to earn my degree in Christian Leadership with a minor in Bible and Theology at William Jessup University. The Lord put it on my heart to explore mission work with YWAM, so I trained for 3 months in Hawaii before embarking on a 3 month long Serve and Learn trip to Cameroon, Africa, and the Tenderloin District in San Francisco. It's truly amazing for me to say that my new adventure is pouring back into the youth group that poured into me! I get to have a front-row seat to see our high schoolers light up with curiosity, important questions, purpose in Jesus's call in their lives, and selfless leadership. I hope you get to see God reveal Himself to them at FPC like I do!
