Ways To Serve
Our First Impressions Team loves & serves all who arrive on our campus, striving to enhance each person’s worship & fellowship experience.
- Ushers: Be a host of the worship experience one or more Sundays a month. Volunteers will arrive prior to service start times. Contact Julie Carter.
- Greeters: Provide a warm welcome just outside the Sanctuary doors and out on the parking lot. Greeters look out for new guests/visitors. Volunteers will arrive prior to service start times. Contact Rosemary Avery.
- Newcomer Connect: We have a special gathering on the 2nd Sunday of each month to welcome newcomers. You can help to provide refreshments, start conversations with guests, and/or participate in the interaction the Facilitator initiates. Contact Terry Jaurena.
- Youth Leaders: If you love Jesus and desire to disciple youth, ask us about serving as a youth leader on Sunday or Wednesday nights.
- Support Team: If you love to serve behind the scenes, ask us about helping out at outreach events, snacks and meals, driving, and/or hosting.
College Ministry Team: Invest in the growth of young people.
Facilities Team: Guys and gals with a passion to care for our facility on a regular basis by planning, organizing, and completing minor to moderate repairs and updates on the FPC campus.
Assist the Deacons in Congregational Care: We'd love to help you put your love in action. Use the sign up button to indicate your areas of interest and we will reach out as needs arise. You can help us extend our outreach and deepen our unity through:
- Memorial Receptions: Honor church families with dignity and grace. Help provide a beautiful space for connection and fellowship after memorial services.
- Prayer Support: Receive prayer requests and help bring the needs of the congregation before God.
- Practical Needs: Help with a move, donate non-perishable foods or furniture, do light yard or home maintenance.
- Transportation: Help people stay connected to our church community and other important services.
- Communion: Bake bread, arrange elements, or clean up after services for our communion Sundays (1st of each month).
- Visitations: Care for our homebound, hospitalized, and grieving congregants. Know the power of presence in bringing hope and healing.
- Meal Support: Help bring healing and encouragement by providing a meal to those in temporary need.
