Pantry Food Box Give Away

This FPC Christmas tradition started in 2008 as a Deacons & Local Engagement collaboration. Six local ministry partners (Martin Park, Bethany Inner City Church, Good News Go Team, Lowell CDC, Hidalgo CDC & Hope Now for Youth) and our deacons identify approximately 160 recipient families. These "dignity boxes" contain pantry stables specifically designed to assist families over the Christmas school break when breakfast and lunch doesn't happen at school. It's not A meal, it's ingredients for several meals.

There are several ways for you to be join in the joy of this tradition. 

Sponsor a Box by donating $ 60 for the purchase of box contents. Just select Pantry Food Box from the drop down list when you give here or write that in the memo if you give by check. 

Be a Box Contents Shopper. We'll give you a WinCo list. Shop for 5 or 10 boxes and deliver the items to the church between Monday, December 15 - Friday, December 19. We will happily  reimburse you for the expenses unless you choose to donate them. 

Help with Assembly and/or Distribution on December 20th. Assembly starts at 10am and Distribution goes from 11am-1pm. . As you can see below, this is a fun for all ages way to love our neighbors!
