Dear First Pres,

It was a great launch back into our normal schedule this past Sunday. Thanks again for all your flexibility over the summer. I appreciate the way our folks who normally sit in the balcony were willing to sit on the main floor. And I appreciate our second service folks who came for worship at 10:15. And I appreciate all those who worked to make Connect Time a success.

Now that we're back into the 8:30 & 11:00 worship schedule, we have resumed our Education Hour. A big thanks goes out to all those who are teaching and serving during this time (from the nursery through the rest of us). The Education Hour is set aside every Sunday for us to engage together in growing as disciples of Jesus. Are you taking advantage of it? Right now there are two great classes for adults, and a very interesting and unique third option is coming soon. You can learn about all of them on our website.
I encourage you, Church, be part of our Education Hour. Not only are these classes a great opportunity to learn and grow in Christ, but they provide opportunities to grow in community as well. Education Hour is one of the most important steps for deepening your connection with others in your church. And for the parents of kids (like me), there is a fantastic group of volunteers who would love to spend time building up your kids in Christ.
So, if you've not made it a priority to be on our campus from 9:40 - 10:40 on Sunday mornings, I hope this note might inspire you to so so this week.

Blessings,
Jeremy

P.S. Our sermon series called "Rest" continues this Sunday in worship, and I have a very unrestful story to tell you. See you then.
