At Home in the Heart of the City

For over 130 years First Presbyterian Church has called Downtown Fresno it's home. As the population spread out far and wide, our congregation continually renewed its commitment to stay located in the heart of the city. Why? Probably for some of the same reasons you chose to live here, too. We believe the diversity and vibrancy of this community reflect God’s Kingdom, and we want to participate in the work He is doing here. We hope you will join us.

Out of love for one another and our community, we're adjusting our gatheirng times, locations and sizes to the threat level in our community. Sunday Worship Services are currently virtual @ 9am on First Pres Live via YouTube & In Person Outdoors on our patio @ 10:45am. Services from previous weeks are available anytime on the YouTube Channel or on the Resource/Sermons page of our website. Read about our health and safety guidelines for all our gatherings on this Being the Church in the Midst of COVID page of our website.

This Advent Season we're joining in with the themes of the Advent Conspiracy. Download this fun AdventConspiracy-Calendar.pdf. Also, let us know if you'd like to receive the daily liturgy we're emailing. (Email staff@fpcfresno.org)

Keep exploring to meet our staff, check out upcoming events, look for ways to serve our community, meet our lay leadership, or peak into other ministry areas

We'd love to meet you, at least virtually for now. Please contact Terry Jaurena or complete this connect form

These are unique times for our community. Is there something we can pray about with or for you? It would be our privilege to do so. Our Need Prayer page provides a couple of ways to contact our prayer team or staff.

Thanks for stopping by!
