Rosemary Avery

I have been a member of FPC along with my husband, Robert, since 1997. We were asked to join the staff as Lay Chaplains ministering to those who are ill or unable to attend church and residents of care facilities in 2008. Included in our responsibilities are hospital calls, emergency room visits and pre-surgery prayers. In other words, to be a visible presence of the church to members and their families in need. I remain in this ministry on a part-time basis and, since February 2013, Bob continues as a volunteer. We were married in 1961, have 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. We love the fellowship of FPC and pray God will allow us to minister here for many more years.
