Dear First Pres,

It’s time for Super Sunday! Yes, of course, there is a famous football game happening in the afternoon, but I’m talking about something of much greater importance. I’m talking about our Annual Congregational Meeting.

Please scroll down this email for all the details about when, where and how to participate this Super Sunday and when and where care for children is provided. All the links and details below will be sent Sunday morning if you get our Livestream Reminder email. And it’s also available on our website.

I want to be sure you notice that there are two online ways to participate in the Annual Meeting so you can be prepared on Sunday.

  • The YouTube Livestream will launch as a separate event from the worship service. So, when worship ends, you’ll need to then find the Livestream for the Annual Meeting.
  • The great thing about the Zoom option will be that online participants can interact and (if members) vote. (YouTube just doesn’t accommodate those well.)

Remember, all are welcome to our Annual Meeting. For anyone who is part of our congregation the meeting will be an uplifting celebration of what God has been doing in and through our church and a valuable consideration of how the Lord is leading us forward. Only active members are allowed to vote for the election of church officers, but this is only a portion of the gathering. You’re not going to want to miss the testimonies, updates, remembrances and honors. Plus, there will be a special treat for those who make it to the very end of the meeting.

Beloved, this really is an important moment in the annual calendar of our congregation. I pray that you’ll adjust your normal Sunday routine to be part of it. Truly, it promises to be a Super Sunday.

Blessings,

Pastor Jeremy
