February ArtHop

The Gallery @ FPC

Thursday, February 3, 2022 - 5:00pm-8:00pm (ended)

Please join us on February 3 to enjoy the work of the Heritage Quilters. This is a friend and fund-raising event! The Heritage Quilters and friends have donated quilts for you to purchase. Funds generated from purchases will be invested in the West Fresno Family Resource Center.

The Heritage Quilters were established in 2004 by three ladies dedicated to preserving the rich artistry and history of African and African American quilts and textiles. Since 2004, the membership has grown from those original 3 to 15 members of diverse cultures and they are displaying their work for our enjoyment.

ArtHop is a program of the Fresno Arts Council that happens in Downtown Fresno on the 1st Thursday of every month. We are an official ArtHop Venue. In addition to opening our Gallery, we will continue to add a virtual version on Facebook and Instagram Live.

We do this to engage with our community - to intersect with people where they like to hang out. Just participating in ArtHop downtown can be missional! Want to join our team? Having resumed in person, we need hosts/greeters in The Gallery or on the sidewalk for either the 5-6:30 or 6:30-8 shift as well as folks who like to supply refreshments. Contact Terry Jaurena.
