Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field." Matthew 9:37-38.

In Fresno, there are nearly 40,000 college students. 40,000! Over these last 2 school years, it has been a pleasure to get to know students through FPC, at Fresno State and Fresno Pacific, and a few at Fresno City. However, there are more students who need the Gospel.

Through our efforts of Go Teams, we have had opportunities to welcome many different students into our hearts, homes, and church. We have seen some of these students make deeper commitments to Jesus and have shared the Gospel with some for the very first time. God is working within the college ministry here at FPC and it has been a blessing to be on the team with you.

God has also been faithful to bring another person to our team to help grow the college ministry for the 2019/2020 school year through the CCO's Fellowship Program. The Fellowship Program is a one-year opportunity to minister to college students while being mentored by an experienced CCO staff member. The fellow will go through intensive Biblical and ministry training, intentional opportunities for growth and ministry experience, and much more.

Will you join me in welcoming Austin Kilduff to our FPC College Ministry Team? Austin (also known as Austin from Boston) graduated from Northwestern University in Boston, MA. He earned a degree in computer science and had worked as a web developer over this last year.

"When I came to know Jesus in college, the church community that God placed me in, played a crucial role in my spiritual development," says Austin. "I'm excited about the ways God has now invited me to partner with the CCO to help bring the same profound transformation to college students through the Gospel."

Austin will work closely with me over this next year to continue tending to God's harvest of college students in Fresno. I am looking forward to what God is going to do. Right now, Austin will be in CCO training and going back home to do support raising. Join me in praying for him as he is preparing to come to Fresno and do the work God has for him!

Welcome to Fresno, Austin! We are so glad you are here with us!
