Dear First Pres,

This evening we expect around 110 children, 45 youth volunteers and 48 adults (mostly volunteers) on our campus for the 4th night of City Bible Adventure. I know the numbers since I'm working registration.
We've got kids & volunteers connected to World Impact, Hope Now, Bethany Inner City Church, On Ramps, Martin Park & FPC. It's a wild and wonderful week with the Body of Christ in our community coming together to invest in the spiritual health of this next generation.
It's been hot, but that hasn't stopped the fun! And it's cooling down these last few days. Will you join me in praying for the Holy Spirit to be at work in powerful and transformational ways these last two evenings of CBA? Tonight is the night our Bible Story team shares the gospel specifically. Pray for open ears and hearts and great fruit.
It's also the last two days for the General Assembly gathering of our denomination, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Our pastors and several elders are currently in Denver connecting, networking and participating in leadership of the EPC. Tonight's worship service speaker is Andrew Brunson, the EPC church planter who was imprisoned in Turkey for two years.  You can read more about GA here.
I'm looking forward to Sunday. Hope Now Bible Church and Bethany Inner City Church folks are joining us for another combined worship service. We think this is a great tradition we hope to continue the Sunday after every City Bible Adventure. Hope to see you Sunday!

Grace & Peace,
Terry
