Sneaker Sundays

Pull out your comfy tennis shoes, and wear them to church as we get ready to put our love in action! At 10:20 a.m. following our 9 o'clock worship service, we will gather on the church lawn to kick off our Sneaker Sunday events.

July 3: We will intentionally Love Our Neighbors. After receiving supplies and instruction, various groups will fan out on pre-planned routes to tidy up and pray over our neighborhood. We'll follow up with some cool refreshment and sharing at the church.

July 31: Love Our Campus. Here's our chance to roll up those sleeves and help make our church shine! We will join forces to scrub, wipe, sweep, mop, fix and mend! Whatever we can do to make First Pres an excellent facility, warm and welcoming to all who come. While we're at it, we might get to know folks better and renew friendships around here, too!

August 14: We will be meeting on various school campuses throughout our cities to  Love Our Schools. We will walk school grounds and pray for teachers, administrators, staff, parents and students as they prepare to start a new school year. Some may follow this time with meals together--so keep your eyes open (especially on the Community Group page) for developing details.
