ArtHop October 2018

The Gallery @ FPC

Thursday, October 4, 2018 - 5:00pm-8:00pm (ended)

This month we are featuring Portrait Quilts created by members of the Heritage Quilters Guild. The guild was established in 2004 by three ladies dedicated to preserving the rich artistry and history of African and African American quilts and textiles. It has since grown from the original 3 to 15 members of diverse cultures, including 3 from FPC. The members strive to educate themselves about the creative art of quilting.

Come enjoy the hospitality at M & Stanislaus!

ArtHop is a program of the Fresno Arts Council. It happens Downtown Fresno on the 1st Thursday of every month. We are an official ArtHop Venue, with changing art exhibits now in The Gallery.

We do this to engage with our community - to intersect with people where they like to hang out. Please consider joining this effort. Just participating in ArtHop downtown could be missional! Be a host/greeter in our venue or on the sidewalk for either the 5-6:30 or 6:30-8 shift. We are looking for a few good men for the later shift each month. Contact Terry Jaurena.
